This is a 3rd generation 10 acre farm that lost the original barns & Silo’s in the historic Belvidere Tornado in 1967. Since then we started a small flock for eggs that slowly gained attention for the variety of egg color we offer! We are certified cage free, pasture raised as we let our chickens free range with the protection from our roosters and our lovable Dobermans. I started my Olive Egger project 7 years ago with French Cuckoo Marans mixing every summer for the perfect shade of green. Our French Black Copper Marans are a Green Fire line that are show quality as well as eggs on scale. Our Millie Fluer D'uccles are APA champions Vaughn Line from Rich Vaughn. My bantam Calico & Millie Fluer colored cochins have been local favorites the last couple of years (50% Frizzle rate).
